🚜💙 HURL FOR THE HOSPITAL – THIS FRIDAY (3rd JULY) - EVENT TIMINGS & ROUTE 💙🚜
The day is almost here! We look forward to welcoming everyone to support the Hurl for the Hospital and show what our community can achieve together.
📍 6.00pm – Vehicles begin arriving at the hospital field.
The community is very welcome to come along and watch the vehicles arrive. For everyone's safety, please do not enter the field. The field is for participating vehicles and organisers only.
🌺 6.45pm – Wreath Laying Ceremony
The Gordon Highlanders will lay a wreath at the entrance to Insch & District War Memorial Hospital to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, which commenced on 1st July 1916.
🥁 7.05pm – The Drums and Pipes of the Gordon Highlanders will perform at the field entrance.
🚜🥁 7.30pm – The Drums and Pipes of the Gordon Highlanders, together with Gordon Highlanders Veterans, will march from the field onto Rannes Street, leading the vehicles as the Hurl for the Hospital begins.

🕢 7.40pm – Beechcroft
🕢 7.45pm – Insch Crossroads
🕗 7.50pm – Dunnydeer View
🕗 7.55pm – Dunnydeer Park & Golf Terrace
🕗 8.00pm – Market Street and back to the Crossroads
🕗 8.05pm – Denwell Road
🕣 8.15pm – Whitehall Road, Whitehall View, Whitehall Gardens & Denwell Drive
🕣 8.30pm – Back along Denwell Road
🕣 8.35pm – High Street & Alexander Street
🕣 8.40pm – Rannes Street & Commerce Street
🕘 8.45pm – Leaves the village via the level crossing towards Auchleven
🕘 9.00pm – Auchleven Crossroads
🏁 9.15pm – The Hurl concludes at the B9002 at Daies, where vehicles will disperse for their journeys home.
🚜 Please come out along the route, clap, wave your flags, sound your horns and show your support for Insch & District War Memorial Hospital. Together, we can send a powerful message that our hospital matters and our community stands united to protect it.
