Well this is me…
Say hello to Mark:
Hi, I’m Mark from Suffolk here in the UK. my love for radio started in my teenage years when I joined as a volunteer at Hospital Radio in Ipswich. Since then I have worked at a number of radio stations across the country including SGR FM, Heart, Essex FM, broadland, Galaxy, GenX, And I have covered at a number of other commercial radio stations over the years.
I have been part of the Happy Hits family from fairly early on and despite a break I have been on the station for more than 3 years. Happy Hits is unique as we are truly a family and we get on so well despite rarely all meeting up as we present from all corners of the world it feels like we are the best of friends.
When I’m not behind the microphone, I’m a watch manager with 20 years service in the fire and rescue service serving in London and Suffolk.
Music wise, my taste is pretty eclectic. I love pretty much anything from the 80s 90s noughties and Current. Pop music country dance and house on my go to but I love a bit of rock and a bit of reggae too.
