CALLING ALL DRINKS RETAILERS 🍷♻️

Since CBS Weekend News aired this feature on our Frugal Bottle Assembly Machine and the paper bottles they produce at Monterey Wine Company on network US TV, the response has been extraordinary.

MWC has been inundated with calls from retailers and brands asking one simple question:
“Where can we buy the Frugal Bottle?”

This growing demand builds on the fact that US wines and spirits packaged in the Frugal Bottle are already on shelves at major retailers including Target, 7-Eleven, Whole Foods Market and Total Wine & More - demonstrating that paper bottles are not a future concept, but a proven commercial reality.

This is exactly why we built the Frugal Bottle Assembly Machine - to enable producers to manufacture paper bottles at scale, locally, and with a dramatically lower carbon footprint than glass.

As Malcolm Waugh, CEO of Frugalpac, puts it:

“What we’ve seen since the CBS feature is clear proof of pent-up demand. Retailers and brands are actively looking for credible, scalable alternatives to glass - and the Frugal Bottle is ready now.”

For Monterey Wine Company | Custom Crush Facility, the attention confirms they’re at the forefront of a packaging shift already underway.

Shannon Valladarez, General Manager of Monterey Wine Company, said:

“The volume of enquiries we’ve received since the broadcast has been incredible. Retailers want sustainable packaging solutions that work commercially, and the Frugal Bottle is resonating strongly.”

If you’re a retailer, brand owner, or drinks producer looking to meet consumer demand for lower-carbon packaging - now is the time to talk.

Bright spark Graham designs the electrical content of our machines, working alongside our mechanical engineers.

Since joining earlier this year, he’s happy being ‘hands on’ after five years working remotely, and rates the Frugalpac office banter high voltage

Originally from Glasgow, now living in Cambridge, Graham still follows Partick Thistle FC and is a season ticket holder at Cambridge United - double the football fun and double the emotional rollercoaster!
