Hospital Radio Ipswich

Hospital Radio Ipswich Hospital Radio Ipswich has been entertaining the patients of Ipswich hospitals for over 50 years. We have been providing this service for 50 years.

We provide a radio service to the patients of The Ipswich Hospital, via the Hospedia System in hospital, and online through our website, and the TuneIn radio app and on smart speaker. We are run entirely by volunteers and rely on donations and fundraising to provide the money we need to keep going. If you are interested in joining us we are always looking for people who are willing to commit to he

lping with ward visiting and fundraising. In addition to doing the above there may also be the opportunity to present your own programme. Please contact us if you are interested.

There’s a theme to this week’s ‘Sunday Breakfast. Probably the coolest instrument there is: the saxophone!

Most of the tracks in the show will feature great saxophone solos: I wonder how many you can guess?

Plus, requests from the wards, Word of the Day and Nature Watch. And anything else that pops into Rick’s head throughout the show (good luck second guessing any of that)!

Sunday morning, 8 to 10; looking forward to keeping you company.
