Its nearly that time again. The 1st of December heralds the Best Day of the Week show on Suffolk Sound.
Lots to talk about and perhaps some Christmas tunes but don't worry i won't be going mad, just yet!
The Top3@3 this week is 1977. I will put Alexa through her paces and Giovanni De Lellis and Ciro De Lellis from Francesco Hair Salon and Fircroft Hairdressing respectively will be starring in Battle of the Barbers. There's been a lot of talk this past week about testing for prostate cancer. Let me share with you part of the letter sent by my specialist to my doctor. Don't worry but it did make me laugh out loud on the bus on the way home from the hospital. I will catch you tomorrow at 2pm. Try to be on time. I'd hate for you to miss a good bit! Lol 😆

Sunday from 10am its the very last edition of the Award Seeking Backtracking on Hospital Radio Ipswich. I'm calling it Backtrackings Best. I have gone through my playlists over the last four years and chosen the cream of the crop. Its been great fun bringing you some fine tunes every Sunday morning. I will still pop up from time to time on HRI but for now a bit of a more leisurely Sunday!
For the final time the Sunday Superstars will be Queen. Six great songs from the band. The Battle of the Barbers will take their bow but you can still catch them on Monday afternoons on Suffolk Sound.
I look forward to you taking part. You can send a message from hri.org.uk (or leave one here if you like)
Listen on channel 1 in Ipswich Hospital or online at hri.org.uk, smart speaker or on the HR Ipswich app.

The question this week is a simple one. Will you be spending more, less or about the same this Christmas? You can leave your comments here.

Stand by. The Best Day of the Week show will soon hit the airwaves on Suffolk Sound, Monday at 2pm to be precise. Not that there's anything precise about the Up-Cycled, Award Seeking, Mr Gobby.
Stand by for a playlist of songs to blow your mind and witty chat from him. The brothers De Lellis are back and they will make you laugh out loud on Battle of The Barbers. There are only 39 days left to Christmas. We just thought we would drop that bombshell. Pleasurewood Hill, Suffolk's biggest theme park, has just been sold. What are your happiest memories of the park?
The Top3@3 will be 1987, classic music from a great year. All this and the warm fluffy feeling you get from listening to Suffolk Sound, real radio, without the whinging and then there's Norman !
