We have been working with Port One Logistics Park since 2021, first crafting their brand identity and more recently helping them realign their brand strategy, design identity, photography & film and redesign their website.

Our approach:
* Brand recalibration
* Honest storytelling
* A modern, interactive website
* Clear, focused messaging built around three core pillars

From refreshed brand assets and iconography to brochures, website and future signage, every touchpoint now reflects Port One’s values and vision accurately.

Thank you to the Port One team and our creative associates (Lee and Luke) for working with us on this project.

“Big business means success.” That’s the message we hear all the time, but it’s not the only way. We’ve intentionally stayed small. We know it works. Our clients know it works. It’s how we do our best work. Success comes in many sizes and for us, small is just right.

This is us.
When you work with us, you work with us.
No middle(wo)men.
No managers.
No layers to get through.
No handovers. No confusion.

Just direct access to the people doing the thinking, designing, directing and creating. We’re your strategists, art directors, designers, photographers, brand thinkers and production partners. And when we need additional expertise, we bring in trusted specialists; carefully, intentionally and always managed by us.

We know small works.
Personal because it matters.
Because small means you matter.
That’s WHAT sets us apart.

Books have the power to shift and transform depending on the reader’s perspective, much like a kaleidoscope. This concept became the idea behind the identity for the .

We designed a bold, vibrant identity that we hope captures the magic of storytelling, celebrating the ever-changing worlds books create. As a local Ipswich agency, this project has been a true labour of love, and we’re thrilled to be partnering with our friends at to bring it to life.

Key Design Elements:
- A kaleidoscope-inspired brand mark and pattern system built from open book shapes.
- Custom icons representing Ipswich’s landmarks and environment.
- An autumnal colour palette inspired by the beautiful Liquidambar tree in Christchurch park (not much to look at now, but in Autumn it’s on fire!)
- A vibrant, animated visual system that adapts across festival materials.

During our recent interview at the Herd launch event, we were asked to reflect on the ups and downs of running our business and share some hard-earned lessons. It made us think about the journey we’ve been on, so here are three key insights we’ve learned along the way:

1.Stay level-headed

Running a business comes with its fair share of emotional roller coasters, whether it’s the excitement of a new project or the stress of setbacks. We’ve learned that it’s crucial to stay grounded. There will always be highs and lows, but keeping focused on the bigger vision and pushing forward, with small steps is how you make it through both.

2. Surround yourself with a good crowd.

We feel incredibly lucky to have a strong network of friends, family, and professional mentors who keep us on track. Having people who believe in you, often more than you believe in yourself, is a so important. Regular feedback and support have been essential for us.

3. Don’t take work home.

This is always easier said than done. But we’ve made it a priority to separate our personal life from work life as much as possible. It’s been key not only for maintaining our marriage but also for preserving our creativity as business partners. And importantly, our kids banned “work talk” at home because, quite rightly, they wanted our attention and to spend time with their parents, not business partners.

Everyone’s journey is different, but these three things have helped us stay on course.

If you’re running your own business, what’s your biggest piece of advice?
