Hi All

Kym here, TT fan working with music PR firm, PPR Publicity on a campaign to get a long-lost Take That single from 1992 released. Titled ‘Falling For You Girl’, it’s an early TT belter, featuring both Gary and Robbie on vocals. It was recorded as the follow up to ‘Could It Be Magic’ and would almost certainly have gone to No.1 – but it never saw the light of day.

A Tribute to Rick Buckler – A True Mod Revival Legend Drummer

One Media was privileged to work with the legendary Rick Buckler, drummer of The Jam, when he sought a home for his music and video archives, as well as support for his digital income rights. Our introduction led to a longstanding friendship, forged over a lunch at Pinewood Studios 15 years ago between Rick and our CEO, Michael Infante.

While we had the honour of distributing Rick’s music, our relationship with him and his wife, Lesley, extended far beyond business. With the support of Paul Ward (a Jam authority and friend), we championed Rick’s projects and celebrated his legacy—whether attending Jam exhibitions in Liverpool, supporting him at Festival of Speed days, or enjoying the atmosphere of the Sand Polo in Poole.

A cherished tradition was our annual 6th December fish and chips lunch at Seashells in Lisson Grove, followed by a nostalgic walk to Sherry’s in Carnaby Street—the spiritual home of Mod fashion.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Lesley, their daughter, Holly, and son, Jason. Rick’s influence on music, style, and those who knew him will never fade. And in his honour, through hell or high water, the regular five will gather again on 6th December at Seashells, raising a glass to a true icon.

Rest in peace, Rick.
