Here’s something rather brilliant to brighten up the post–Remembrance Sunday gloom.

Over in Hatch End, Pinner Minori Restaurant has decided not to wait for politicians to think about supporting the people who actually keep the country running. No committees. No slogans. No Rachel Reeves waving a spreadsheet.

Instead, they’ve just gone and done something useful.

From now on, all service personnel — Police, Military, NHS and Fire Service — get 15% off the food bill. Not as a publicity stunt. Not for one week only. Just… because it’s the right thing to do.

So if you spend your days saving lives, catching criminals, putting out fires or defending the nation — Minori would like to discount your dinner. Just don’t tell your date.
Minori is doing what Labour can’t: saying thank you, properly.

As we approach 6th December, we pause to honour the memory of the late, great Rick Buckler — legendary drummer of The Jam and a cherished friend of One Media iP.

Rick was more than one of Britain’s most influential drummers. His skill, drive and unmistakable sound helped define a generation — and continue to inspire musicians and fans around the world today. Beyond his iconic work, he was a valued collaborator and a true gentleman whose passion for music shone through every beat.

To mark what would have been Rick’s 70th birthday, we are proud to share a short tribute video that reflects on his remarkable legacy and the special connection we were privileged to share with him.

Rick Buckler’s talent, warmth and spirit remain very much alive in the music he helped create — and in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to have worked with him.

A great drummer. A true pioneer. And a great friend to One Media.

We are actively exploring and experimenting with cutting-edge AI technologies to research, generate, and enhance content.
