We’re thrilled to share that Christian has been awarded the Michael Harm Supervising Location Manager Award, sponsored by Location Collective & OMA Studio Group — recognising his outstanding contribution to UK film and TV. 🌟

From Braveheart and Four Weddings and a Funeral to Gladiator 2, Sonic 3, Citadel, and Hijack, Christian’s career spans more than three decades of location excellence across the globe.

Known for his creative problem-solving, leadership, and passion for his craft, Christian’s work continues to elevate productions and inspire everyone around him — including our students here at CMS.

According to a recent article, the UK has firmly cemented itself as one of the world’s top destinations for film & TV music recording.

✨ Abbey Road Studio One — the world’s largest purpose-built recording space — has hosted scores from Harry Potter, Skyfall, Lord of the Rings and more. ✨ AIR Studios (founded by Beatles producer Sir George Martin) recently recorded a 110-piece orchestra plus 20 bongo players for Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning. ✨ Scotland’s RSNO has joined the game too, scoring productions like Apple TV+ Silo and Netflix’s Back in Action.

With world-class musicians, iconic spaces, and cutting-edge upgrades, it’s no wonder the UK is a hub for the soundtracks we all love.

We’re so proud to share that Tomorrow Never Knows — created by CMS Class of 2025 graduates — has been officially selected for the Bournemouth International Film Festival, where it’s competing for Best UK Short Film! 🏆
