Beat Box Productions Original compositions, productions and CDs for primary schools and children of all ages! The Beat Box are Laura Hodge and Kevin Guthrie.

Kev and Laura met at Beath High School where they both studied music, Kev focussing on drums and percussion while Laura played piano and studied singing. Laura went on to study for a B.Ed in Music and Kevin chose to focus on historical studies. Almost 20 years later they joined forces again pulling together their different talents to create music education company, The Beat Box!

Wow, it's been a year!

2025 was our busiest year yet (but 2026 is set to smash that again!) and we couldn't be more grateful.

We know how tight school budgets are these days, so the fact that we have so much repeat business from schools, along with the support of YMI Fife, and now YMI PKC, really does mean the world to us as a small, independent business. Not only because it keeps us afloat, but also because it's proves so many schools value our input, and value music and drama and the impact they can have on our children.

From the bottom of our hearts (and our bellies!), thank you!
