Good morning everyone, I have regretfully decided that I am not longer going to be continuing my radio show after April 5th (2x weeks time) I have been with Lake District Radio for 3yrs now on and off, I have very much enjoyed my experience, I've learned a lot as my shows have progressed and I thank you all for your support as dedicated listeners.

Too many different commitments in my personal life has meant that something had to give and unfortunately it is my Friday country show. I don't want to continue my show knowing that it is not 100% to the standard I would like. I plan to host 2x more live shows on Friday 29th March 7pm-9pm and for my final show Friday 5th April 7pm-9pm so I hope you can join me then

Thank you all once again for all your song requests, FaceBook shares, playing along to the BUZZ Word, sharing your stories and best of all being a country music fan. I do not plan on returning to LDR but who knows you might hear my on another station one day in the future.

The Milk Hut is one of my favourite local snack businesses, they have worked tirelessly to build a great reputation with local customers and establish themselves as a great food business with amazing product. Whomever has stolen their money pot please return it with haste. We are all supporting you here at Lake District Radio please share!

To the person who has so kindly taken the money tin belonging to the cakes, we ask you to bring it back and leave it in the hut. No questions asked. We work so hard on everything to do with the Hut and the farm and this is just a complete kick in the teeth. And we would like to yet again remind you of the 24hour cctv we have in and around the Hut.

As the one who makes the cakes and spends so many hours, getting up in the early hours of the morning prepping and baking, hours away from our children. I am honestly gutted that someone could do this.

Howdy country fans 🤠 There will be no Troy Rawsthorn’s Country Classics show this Friday (21st Feb) I've had the dreaded lurgy, so haven't had time to prepare a full show. I'm also away at an event this week, so the normal 2hr evening show will reconvene next Friday (28th Feb) from 7pm - 9pm, I hope you can all join me then, for 2hrs of great country music 🎶
