We're looking forward to seeing 'The Last Ride Home' arriving in Barrow again tomorrow afternoon - over 75,000 bikes have made the journey over the last 2 years - as well as the entertainment and fundraising events in the town.

Today our beautiful historic theatre turns 244 years old!

For almost two and a half centuries, the Lancaster Grand Theatre has been welcoming audiences through its doors, bringing people together through the power of live entertainment, storytelling, creativity and community.

As one of the oldest working theatres in the UK, we are incredibly proud of our history, but even more proud of the people who continue to make this place so special.

To our audiences, volunteers, staff, trustees, performers, supporters and the wider Lancaster City community: thank you. Your passion, dedication and support help ensure that this theatre continues to thrive for future generations.

We are far more than just a building. We are a community, a home for creativity, and a place where memories are made.
