My beautiful sister surprised me yesterday with a cheeky garden centre trip and lunch (of course I purchased a few to many plants)

Kirks taking me out today, dinner with friends tonight, dinner with friends tomorrow night....Im a busy girl!!!

I Love growing in pots! 🌸

Have you ever decorated a room in your house and gone around picking decour items from other rooms to add to the new room? It's like shopping but in your own home and one of my FAV things to do.
Growing in pots is exactly the same. You can change the layout of your garden as often as you like without spending a penny!
We all know gardneing is expensive so being able to change things up with the seasons makes things really fun.
In autumn I bring all my flowering pots onto the patio so I can enjoy them form my kitchen window. (It also means I dont have to venture far to look after them) In spring they are back out again dotted around the gaps in my beds and boarders filling in any spaces. 🌈

Controversial things I do (or don't do) in my garden

I've been growing food and flowers for 10 years on both allotments and my home garden.

Honestly alot of information is outdated in my opinion.

Go with your gut. If it works well for you then carry on doing it.

unless your style is minimalist then don't follow my advice

our garden was 6Ft in bindweed 2 years ago and we used the outplanting method. We've pretty much irradiated it now!

Remember...its YOUR garden nobody else's.
