Its week 1 of my brand new series and this week im focusing on the senses of SMELL.

There are so many plants to choose from but my top 3 are:

Lavender -beginner friendly
Rosemary - beginner friendly
Roses

We all love a fragrant flower but adding ones with a highly strong scents really enhances the garden for anyone with visual impairment in particular.

Next week ill be highlighting another scent and showing you how to enhance it within your outdoor space.

We seem to be a magnet for hedgehogs. 3 rescued and re released last year and 2 this year. This fella was out in broad daylight on our next door neighbours drive. We think he got lost during the night. Nice and perky and no tics. As we live on a busy road we kept him inside for the day, he ate and drank and then we popped him in the garden at dusk. Happy chappy 🦔
