Radio Abbey takeover by the work experience kids right now!

We are in the final days of our work experience week here at tKC, we have had a range of students here from Kenilworth School, Kineton School and Cardinal Wiseman working on a variety of projects. From creating new signage and art work, to audio drama and sports radio.
We have been supported by a number of guests and volunteers whom we are extremely grateful to for giving up their time to support them.
Including: Akira Summers, Sarah Jane Perry, Marcus Leek, Rob Warner, Teresa O’Connor, Helen Goldwyn, Ritchie and Big Finish productions.
Today two of the students are taking over Radio Abbey from 10am -12pm.

the Kenilworth Centre and Radio Abbey Kenilworth have a float in the Kenilworth Carnival this afternoon, our presenters Eddie King and Vicki Mansfield are already hard at work decorating it, and Eddie has prepared a fantastic playlist. Give them a wave as they go past!

Kenilworth Carnival 2023 celebrating it's 90th Year. This Weekend raises funds for local charities while bringing the town together to share in a weekend of family fun.

After nearly 12 years, this may be the final open mic at the Tree House Bookshop, one of our sponsors. (The open mic may be ending, not the bookshop!) It's an open mic for music and spoken word - all welcome, whether to listen or perform.

The Tree House Bookshop’s final open mic night, covering music and spoken word, is on Saturday, 14 June. Attend to support local art. Doors open at 7:30pm

A chance to socialise in a bookshop, and we'll be raising funds for the Kenilworth Centre - specifically a new computer for Radio Abbey. Half our proceeds will go to this fund.
