For nearly ten years, this festival has been powered by people — the volunteers, filmmakers and audiences who’ve turned film screenings into friendships and stories into memories.

From our first events back in 2016 to our community cinema in 2025, Crossing The Screen has always been about connection, creativity and belonging. 🧡

As we approach the 10th Eastbourne International Film Festival in 2026, we want to celebrate the faces and moments that have shaped our journey so far.

2017: armed with a clapperboard and a stack of flyers, we roamed Eastbourne chatting films, festivals, and all things independent cinema 🎬

From radio stops to seaside strolls, we had a blast and we can’t wait to do it all again soon. The 10th Eastbourne International Film Festival is on the horizon… roll on 2026!
