Do you know where House came from and where it’s gone since its inception? No?!? Here are several books we recommend giving a read.

📚Last Night A DJ Saved My Life by Bill Brewster & Frank Broughton (essential read!)
📚Do You Remember House? by Micah Salkind (more focused just on House music history)
📚The Underground Is Massive by Michaelangelo Matos (a magnificent chronicle of underground music history)
📚Energy Flash by Simon Reynolds (published as Generation Ecstasy in the UK, but they’re the same book)

Except for the first book, the others include parts about Techno, Disco, Drum & Bass, Rave, and generally the whole scope of dance music and DJ culture in the 20th & 21st centuries. Some good read for the holiday break! Enjoy and tell us what you think in the comments.
