Victor Lawrence Lual is a highly dedicated, ethical, and professional figure in the world of football administration in South Sudan. With a lifelong passion for the sport, Victor has not only contributed on the field as a player but has also played a vital role in shaping the administrative framework of football in the country.
His early football journey began in Khartoum, Sudan, where he showcased exceptional talent playing for Al-Hilal Youth Team. He later went on to play for Freedom Football Club in Al-Kalakla, among several other local clubs, making a name for himself as a committed and dynamic player. His involvement in football extended beyond Sudan, as he actively engaged in sporting circles in Egypt and South Sudan, building a strong foundation for cross-border sporting collaboration.
Driven by a deep passion for developing local talent and promoting organized football, Victor founded Citizen Football Club, an initiative that provided young players with the platform and support to grow and compete. His vision and leadership did not go unnoticed. He served as South Sudanโs national coordinator for the Confederation of African Football (CAF), representing the country in various continental engagements and strengthening its ties with African football institutions.
Victor's extensive experience and unwavering commitment led to his appointment as the Secretary General of the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF) during the presidency of Francis Amin. In this role, he has been instrumental in streamlining football governance, enhancing transparency, and promoting the sport at grassroots and national levels. Under his stewardship, SSFF has seen increased engagement with international bodies, the strengthening of local leagues, and the nurturing of young talent across the country.
