OUT NOW: Round 2 with Tom Hart D**e🌵🌷🌱

Tom is a legendary plant-hunter and horticulturalist. In the year 2000 he was kidnapped and held hostage for 9 months, we talked all about that experience in episode 29. During his time in captivity, he began to sketch plans for a 'World Garden', with plants from all over the world, a dream which later became a reality.

In this episode, we focus more on plants themselves, the weird, wonderful, and downright bizarre, all served up to you with Tom's signature combination of passion and enthusiasm.

In the year 2000, Tom Hart D**e was hunting for rare orchids in the dangerous Darien Gap alongside his travel companion. Suddenly they were held up at gun-point, and kidnapped. They were held captive for the next 9 months. They didn't know who kidnapped them, why they did it, or if there was any chance of survival.

Tom is seemingly one of the worlds greatest storytellers, and he has plenty of stories to match. His passion and enthusiasm are infectious, and the way he recounts details, you almost feel like you’ve lived a bit of the experience with him. Don’t skip this episode 🌻💻🍿

NATE MENNINGER is a free-spirit, an explorer, and a creative filmmaker. Since his days playing lacrosse at school in the US he's lived an extraordinary life, he's run with the bulls, spent time in a Favela in Brazil, and more recently, worked as a Porter for tourists in the Himalayas in Nepal 🇳🇵

Nate wanted to make a documentary about the challenges he would face as a porter, and he did, but the final product ended up changing his life when he realised the true story wasn't his adventure, it was the harrowing conditions that Porters have to work in, and the low pay that they do it for 🤯

We talk all about the twists and turns of his earlier life, battles with mental health, spirituality, his time in Nepal + his INCREDIBLE documentary THE PORTER - Untold Story at Everest.

Robert is a former United States Air Force Officer, Weapons Controller, and Missile Propulsion Engineer, who also spent 21 years with the Federal Aviation Administration.

In 1967, whilst commanding intercontinental ballistic missiles as a Launch Officer at a nuclear launch facility, Robert was involved in a paradigm-shifting UFO incident 🤯

We talk about that UFO incident, organized International UFO secrecy in governments, nuclear weapons, the risk of nuclear war, the connection between UFOs and nukes, and the UFO topic more generally.
