🎪 WHEN A PIANO HIRE TURNS INTO A FULL FESTIVAL… 🎶
What an incredible day at Crake Trees Manor in Crosby Ravensworth, near Penrith, celebrating Mark & Fliss’s housewarming! ❤️
This booking actually started with a simple enquiry about hiring a piano. But once I heard what Mark and Fliss were planning, we started talking… and it quickly became clear that we could turn their idea into something much bigger.
The result? Their very own mini festival. 🎪🎤🎧
We designed a full PA, lighting and DJ setup around the venue, with live singers mic’d up and different areas individually zoned. The main equipment stayed protected in the barn while weatherproof speakers carried the music out across the grounds and into the marquee.
During the afternoon, that meant great live sound outside while keeping the marquee at a level where everyone could relax, chat and enjoy the music. As darkness fell, we gradually turned everything up and transformed the barn into a proper party space. And later, as we headed into the wee hours, we could bring the outside levels back down while keeping the dance floor absolutely bouncing. 🔥
Then came my four-hour DJ set, built around Mark & Fliss’s tastes and the playlists they’d sent me beforehand.
From the first track to the last, that dance floor did not stop. 🙌
All ages, all generations and one of those brilliant crowds where everything just clicked. I was having every bit as much fun behind the decks as they were in front of them!
On site from midday and finally packed down and home around 3am — a long one, but absolutely worth it.

Sometimes my job isn’t simply turning up with some speakers and playing music. It’s listening to what somebody is trying to create and working out how we can make it happen.
And this one came together beautifully. ❤️🎶
