Following the announcement of his retirement, we’d like to say a massive thank you to Des and Karen at Corby Radio for everything you’ve done for local radio!

Without them, Northants 1 simply wouldn’t be here today. Our Station Manager Charlie completed the Corby Academy over 10 years ago under the training of Des, and this has helped shape the design and operation of the way our station works, and provided Charlie with the inspiration to create something similar for Kettering.

A massive congratulations to Jim on your new role at Corby Radio, we’re confident you’ll help the legacy of the station carry on!
