Solo Exhibition by Simbah Pilé Private View: Tuesday 18th November (6pm - 8pm) Exhibition: Tuesday 18th – Sunday 23rd November 2025, Open: 11am - 5pm In Wild Cotton: A Study of Plants and Empire, Barbadian, Bath based artist Simbah Pilé, delves into the entangled histories of botany, empire, and resistance. Drawing from archival imagery, botanical text, and found materials, Simbah Pilé uses collage and mixed media to shine light on the overlooked narratives that lie beneath the scientific pursuit of plants, questioning who gets to be remembered as a “discoverer” and who is left unseen....
