Bespoke audio production – audio to order – Our most popular bespoke audio design service sees clientele from all different commercial industries commission Martin and Rhoades to consult and then develop audio for new brand identities or product showcases. We aim to adapt with the widest versatility for all needs and requirements, our product portfolio has been designed to represent our versatility. Please note that all products and audio design is created specifically for the client or project in question and that audio word can not be resold to other parties or individuals. Soundtracks – Often we find clientele requiring royalty free or bespoke music designed to enhance their film production. Film productions can be as small as a YouTube blog or as big as a full feature length movie. Soundtracks usually require Martin & Rhoades to produce sound to moving image to accurately capture feeling, depth and description of the motion picture. Sample soundtrack production can be arranged to trial our service before embarking on what could well be a lengthy project. Consultation essentially required for larger projects. Instrumentals – Instrumentation becomes essential for TV and film especially when vocals are externally sourced. Instrumentation production is very popular within our day to day business, this however is not always studio based and could mean that we find ourselves out on location recording foley. Example instrumentals will be demoed to represent a target sound before production starts.

Starting a new LI posting campaign as to keep up the good comms with my network.

Funny how you remember certain projects due to the occasion and the race to meet the deadline. I was due to fly out to the Qatar World Cup no less than 24hrs later and had to turn around a drone FPV shoot in record time. Luckily, I organised the shoot with the superb support and skill from my Drone pilot Dan who’s one of the most professional freelancers I’ve worked with. He has helped me push projects over the line when I’ve needed support most.

A special one for me was seeing Dan fly a FPV drone out of the Reading FC tunnel and meet my brief and shoot plan which I had sold to the client. The amount of fog that we had at the ground in the morning was next level but totally added to the mystique and service in question. Somethings just fall into place at the right time. Here's a quick clip from my phone to mark the start of the shoot with some challenging shots.

A snapshot of an upcoming feature from my forthcoming podcast (which has been forever in the making but a total passion project). Of course client work always comes first but I now have a ton of content to edit and you’ll be hearing it. The mindful connections podcast has been designed for my client network along with my newsletter but the podcast unlike the newsletter will be publicly available to listen to. Shouts to the Chaat Food Truck which fed hundreds of craft beer lovers at the Mysterious Brewing open day a couple of weeks ago. Emily and Oliver won foodies over with their 'Venison sali boti' an aromatic Venison Curry topped with crispy potatoes, sultans and peanuts. served with pickle & grilled paratha.

I was honoured to receive an invite to the launch event—unfortunately, the calendar didn’t align this time. That said, having regularly recommended Datum to clients and personally toured their Farnborough facility with them, I continue to be impressed by their meticulous approach to client needs—both current and future-facing. Fantastic to support The Fieldgate Centre who play a crucial role for the local community throughout all times of the year. Wonderful that events such as this music festival can bring people of all ages together and celebrate local talent. “The New Technology Showcase 2025 took place on Thursday 30th January at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. The event was held in collaboration between WL and the ALPD and allowed industry professionals to explore and compare the latest lighting technology available on the market.

The showcase had over 10 manufacturers in attendance and featured a range of industry experts offering specific product demonstrations as well as taking part in Q&A sessions in front of an audience invited by the ALPD.
