Hull from above Massey Playing Fields and Cemy. Just after 4 pm on Saturday, 16th August. With the fresh cut grass, it was perfect timing for the travellers to arrive. The only two bits of fencing without bollards behind them were easy for them to take down.

I'm no Facebook engineer and do understand the scheme, but I still think the current A164 could continue with northbound traffic to Morrisons with just a slip road to the new A1079 roundabout. Talk about over-engineering! But then again, I have common sense. Something lacking in today's society.
Why take northbound traffic onto the new road over a bridge and then back onto the old A164?

Part of the A164 is now closed, and the new road is open, with a new traffic flow in place. And now I still can't figure...

Part of the A164 is now closed, and the new road is open, with a new traffic flow in place. And now I still can't figure out the need for the bridge and underpass. However, I think you'll go over the bridge to get to Morrisons and under the bridge to join the new roundabout, which connects to the A1079. I cannot believe this got through planning. What a waste of money.
