The REYTA Awards lit up Bonus Arena last night — and working alongside HPSS set the tone from the moment we arrived. 🎬

HPSS delivered full AV mastery: screens with sharp presence, lighting that sculpted the room, and an infrastructure that transformed the arena into a rich, cinematic space. Their craft didn’t just support the night; it elevated every frame we captured.

Our remote wireless camera system moved through the room, giving the AV team dynamic perspectives. From the balcony, our telephoto setup pulled out the fine details on stage. And on the floor, our roaming operator gathered the behind-the-scenes moments that shaped the highlight reel.

Last weekend, we filmed the Sledmere Fireworks Spectacular for Visit Hull & East Yorkshire, transforming a night of colour and community into cinematic storytelling.

Set against the stunning Sledmere House, the event featured an explosive display perfectly timed to a cinematic soundtrack, a crackling bonfire, and a low-noise show for families and sensory-sensitive visitors. From fairground lights to superheroes roaming the grounds, it was a celebration of spectacle and spirit.

Through our lens, we captured not just fireworks, but the rhythm, energy, and emotion of East Yorkshire at its best.

🎬 Behind the Lens: The Art of Grey Moonlight

On our latest short film Reparation, Cinematographer Kris faced a challenge worthy of any night shoot: a remote countryside road, no street lighting, and power over 200 metres away.

To bring realism and atmosphere to the scene, Kris employed a grey moonlight technique, a cinematic method that mimics the natural falloff of moonlight, balancing visibility and mood without losing the night’s authenticity.

The result? A scene that feels true to nature yet visually striking, proving that the right light can turn any location into pure cinema.

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news! 🎬

“𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻”, a powerful short film we had the honour of co-producing, will have its 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹.

This independent production was a joy to be part of, supporting local cast and crew. Directed by 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻, with our own director 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝘀𝗸𝗶 stepping in as cinematographer and 𝗧𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 lending his skills as camera assistant, the team poured heart and craft into every frame. We also supplied Hollywood-grade equipment to help deliver the stunning visuals that this story truly deserves, ensuring it stands tall on the international stage.
