I’ve been lucky enough to film in some extraordinary places.

Some I can talk about.

Some I can’t.

But wherever the camera takes me, one thing I’ve learned is that sometimes the surroundings tell you as much as the people you’re there to film.

The light. The sound. The space. The things happening around you.

You notice them.

Because sometimes the shot you didn’t plan is the one that helps tell the story.

Huge thank you, as always, to Kleenex® Brand for having my back while I continue editing for the amazing Chasing Rainbows Charity UK ❤️

No matter how many times I hear these stories while editing, they never lose their impact.

These are incredibly personal journeys, shared with honesty, courage and so much emotion. There are moments that make you smile, moments that stop you in your tracks and, yes, plenty that bring a tear.

They also have a way of making you look at your own life and feel incredibly grateful for the things we can so easily take for granted.

Most importantly, thank you to every family who trusts me enough to share their story.

Being allowed into such a personal part of your lives, and being trusted to help tell your story, is something I will never take lightly. 🌈❤️

Right… back to the edit. And probably another Kleenex.

Sometimes things just go wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️ today my Mac decided that, you know what….. I don’t want to work with these files any more 🤦🏻 nope, it’s Sunday…. I don’t care that you’re trying to get things finished for the amazing Chasing Rainbows Charity UK . Fortunately I got the last laugh…. I back everything up so although I had to redo a chuck today, I’m still on track.

It’s hard to put this weekend into words.

Over the last few days I’ve had the privilege of spending time with an incredible group of women at the , camera in hand, trying to capture moments that matter.

I’ve filmed laughter that made the room light up, friendships that have been built through shared experiences, and moments of genuine happiness that, for a little while, allowed the weight these women carry every day to be put to one side.

But I’ve also witnessed tears. Raw emotion. Difficult conversations. Moments of reflection and vulnerability that take a huge amount of courage to share.

What amazes me most is the strength in this group.

Not the kind of strength people usually talk about, but the quiet kind. The strength it takes to keep going. To support others when you’re hurting yourself. To open up about experiences that have changed your life forever.

Being allowed into those moments is not something I take lightly.

To every woman who welcomed me this weekend, trusted me with their story, and allowed me to capture both the highs and the lows, thank you. I hope I do your stories justice.

I leave this weekend feeling incredibly grateful, humbled, and full of admiration for every single one of you.

You may not always see it yourselves, but you are all extraordinary.
