Nick Russell Music I am an in-house producer at Young Thugs and a freelance studio engineer/music producer. I can also mix and master your music as well.

He records artists at Unit 45 Recordings, or as a freelance producer, recording wherever you prefer using his transportable recording setup. He has experience recording many different genres from folk, rock, electronic to even brass band. He can mix and master your tracks to

o, all using a mixture of industry standard DAW’s and analog/digital recording equipment. Nick Russell also offers soundtrack composing services, as well as composing for radio (jingles etc.) for a set fee depending on the brief. As a versatile musician he can compose using either real instruments or electronic, using a mixture of DAW’s and analog/digital equipment to compose with. He’s completed 3 years in a BA Hons Music Production degree at Hull as well as taking part in the Hull music scene. He has also recorded many different artists building relationships with them and also collaborating with them/building on their tracks.

So proud of this EP which I engineered, produced and mixed. Fantastic band with great songs, made my job so easy, and because of how good musicians they are, it left tonnes of time at the end of the recording sessions. This led to adding Cello, Hammond Organ, plenty of percussion and even recording sound effects like knifes and using a bow against a cymbal, to add lots of eeriness to “You’re Not The Only One”. So proud of this band and all we achieved together 😁
