Hull's 107FM We are Hull's 107FM - Broadcasting 24/7/365 on 107.4FM, Online at 107fm.co.uk, on smart speakers and on your Mobile. Give us a call!

107FM is Hull & East Yorkshire’s biggest & most successful community-led radio station and home to one of Hull’s broadcast training hubs. It took to the airwaves at 7am Monday 8th of August 2022 with the Freshly Squeezed Breakfast with Millsy. The first track played was the extended version of Simple Minds -" Don't You Forget About Me." Originally under the Hull Kingston Radio brand, after having

been streaming for nearly a year online, we launched on air on 107.4FM from the KC Lightstream Stadium at 0900 hours on Friday 6th February 2015. U2’s -‘Even Better Than The Real Thing’ (Perfecto Remix) was the first track played. The station, presented by an ever-growing number of fresh new talents, broadcasts from it’s state-of-the-art studios at the One Business Village, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year to the City of Hull and the surrounding areas.

107FM promotes a fantastic eclectic mix of music and a wealth of specialist shows that cover the widest breadth of music genres. On top of the music and the daily talk shows, we are a station proving to deliver high quality live sports commentaries. After historically providing live commentary of SuperLeague Rugby League matches we currently provide home match commentary of North Ferriby FC and are looking to further expand to coverage of other local sports teams. We have always involved and engaged with the communities we serve and bring a real flavour and fresh perspective of this area to the rest of the world. The 107FM brand has now taken over the baton of broadcasting to the City of Kingston-upon-Hull on the frequency of 107.4MHz & online and still continues to deliver the entertainment you expect on air, as well as the broadcast training courses helping people into employment, further training or further education. The organisation is run on a not-for-profit basis and is almost entirely volunteer run with over 60 volunteers, many of which may have had little or no previous broadcasting experience, proving the success of our training courses, both benefiting both on-air and out in the real world. We are known as people enablers and are recognised for having the ability to turn people’s lives around. For prospective sponsors and advertisers we can offer real value-for-money packages that include advertisements produced by the multi award winning Engine 7 Productions as standard … all at prices that could start from as low as just £50 per week! Our Story

Hull Kingston Radio is Hull's biggest community radio station, based at the Freedom Centre at the heart of the East Hull community. We launched on 107.4FM from the KC Lightstream Stadium at 09:00am on 6th February 2015 following a highly successful run of test transmissions. The first presenters on air were Pete Mills and Dave Nightingale. U2’s -‘Even Better Than The Real Thing’ (Perfecto Remix) was the first track played. We have continually since our launch engaged our communities and have given a voice to the voiceless, and championed a great number of social campaigns. We are always at the cutting edge of innovative ideas that will involve and engage with the community to bring a real flavour and fresh perspective of this area to the rest of the world.

There will always be opportunities for people to get involved and training will be available for people wanting to be part of our adventure in radio! We have had great success with our training scheme with a number of our volunteers going on to get paid professional work in the radio industry, either at the BBC or in commercial radio, or using the experience to get employment elsewhere.
