..& happiness, prosperity and good health 🤷‍♀️

We will be back open from our Christmas break on Wednesday 7th with Vanilla Slices! (...and first Teen Night back will be Thursday 8th).

Will hopefully have an update on our exciting project tomorrow 👀

Unsolicited duck pic 🤭🦆

The best bit of visiting family (after actually spending time together & switching off from social media for a few days)…was hiding a frankly unnecessary number of tiny ducks around my Dad & Step Mum’s house 🦆

So far they’ve found about 20…
✔️ Nestled in the nativity scene
✔️ Tucked in a toilet roll tube
✔️ Lost among the teaspoons
✔️ AND in the letterbox (I genuinely thought that one would last a few more days! 🙃)

👉 Swipe to see some of their hiding spots…AND where one very easy duck is still living its best undercover life 👀

If you were hiding a tiny duck… where would you put it to cause maximum chaos???

It's taken a little longer than expected, but it will hopefully be worth the wait!

Open today 12pm - 2pm 🎄 Fancy a scone?

As we wind down towards Christmas, we are only open for a couple of hours over lunch today.

If you'd like any freshly baked scones....message us NOW or forever hold your peace!

We will be closed between Christmas & New Years while we visit family and recharge ready for 2026!

BUT...don't panic, you won't have to go without your favourite treats all that time!

I was one of "those" customers today 🙈

Strolled into Laggan Coffee Bothy and Gallery 15 mins before the end of the day!!!

In fact, not even just the end of the day...

But the end of their YEAR!!! 😳

Despite this, Annette (and the rest of the team) were amazing as always! We needed to nip in before they closed for Christmas to grab a gift! 🎁

We got some great advice on the gift (I can't say too much 🤫) and even managed to snag the last two drinks of 2026 to take away for our walk...and maybe a couple of yummy treats too! 😉

Kendal stayed in the car whilst we popped in, but he's been in several times before and is always welcomed 🐾

I know many of you will have enjoyed the local spots I've posted about recently, but we've noticed more and more people are following us from afar for when they next visit...so thought I'd share some of my other favourite spots for people to enjoy too 🥰

So...have you finished your Christmas shopping yet??? 🎁

🎄 This is why we can’t have nice things…

Naughty Elf and have turned the shop into their own dessert playground and we are absolutely not coping! 🍨

Melted ice cream across the table… broken cones everywhere… bubble gum sauce looking like modern art 😳

We swear we left them alone for one minute and they created a whole festive crime scene!

At this point we’re just hoping the sprinkles survive the week 💙

When does the little cherub go back to the North Pole??? ...asking for a friend 🫣

The Elf's had a more fun filled day than us 🙈

Our Naughty Elf post is a little later than usual, but hope some of you popped in to try & spot him today!

Abbey's hospital tests for today are all done and now we wait for the results 😏
..but it looks like they are going to show what we have suspected all along PLUS this should unlock the next round of tests (hello 3-day-fast! 😳).

So, it's a chilled night this end as the tests have left Abbey feeling rough...how's everyone else spending their Friday evening???

Another day, another trip to Raigmore 🙄

Just a little reminder that we have adjusted opening hours today as I'm up at Raigmore with Abbey all day for some planned tests.

💙 Open today 10am till 2pm 💙

I'm so pleased the parking at the hospital is free, otherwise between Abbey and the kids...I'd be applying for an annual pass 🙈

Back to "normal" again tomorrow...if you can call anything we do as normal 🤣

So...Abbey is having to fast all day 😳 What do you think is the ultimate stealthy snack that I can sneak past her? Crisps are obviously a no go! 🙈
