Another day, another Google review 🥰

We can’t tell you how much these mean to us. Running a small business means long days (and sometimes longer nights) and kind words like this really do make it all feel worth it 💙

We are not actively requesting reviews, so when someone takes the time to share their experience, it honestly makes our day!

𝗔 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴…& 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 🍕🔥

Can you believe it’s been over a year since we bought our stone bake pizza ovens? It’s taken us that long to finally fire them up… but today it 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥!

We started simple with the classics — hand-stretched, mini square 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮 and 𝗽𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶 pizzas, stone-baked to perfection and ready in Barry (our hot hold cabinet 🤷‍♀️) for a quick grab ’n’ go lunch.

Tomorrow we’re mixing it up with:

🐷 Hawaiian

If you’ve been following along since the beginning, you’ll know pizza has always been part of the dream. After working in two of the UK’s top pizza restaurants, I’ve been itching to get back to hand stretching dough again!

Now it’s finally here… and this is just the start 👀

📢 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 👇 before coming at me!

✅ 𝟭𝟬𝟬% the butcher’s sausage & bacon will taste better than ours

✅ 𝟭𝟬𝟬% you should support local!

BUT…the butchers are closed today 🤷‍♀️

(Plus, we’re local too 😉)

Don't forget, when I was working in Co-op on a Sunday morning, I saw sooo many of you popping in for bacon, sausage, bread rolls...etc for your fry ups 🤣 So, we thought we’d help out today!

We've stocked Ashers rolls for months, plus we've been building up essentials like tea, coffee, sugar, eggs, cereal...etc.

Yesterday, at the wholesalers, I also picked up baked beans, chopped tomatoes, orange juice and (𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 while the butchers is 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗) we’ve got sausage & bacon too!

So, pop your soap boxes away 😘 and tag someone who definitely owes you a Sunday breakfast 👇👇👇

We didn’t even have to pay her!!! 🥰

Melissa left us this heart-warming Google review and it really made our day! Not only did she love the food, coffee and service, but she also noticed something that means a lot to us...the extra effort we’re making to support our community while the Co-op is closed.

We decided to open 7 days a week from 6am till late (8pm+) so people in town still have somewhere to grab what they need, and it’s amazing to know it’s being noticed and appreciated.

Ok, who actually thought we’d pull this off? 😜

We used to be a little…'fashionably late' sometimes 🙈
..and when we announced our new opening times, I'm sure there might have been a couple of eye rolls 🙄

BUT since Co-op closed (in fact...a few days before!), we’ve been opening 6am sharp, 7 days a week — and staying open ‘til at least 8pm (sometimes, like last night, 10pm!).

Consistency: unlocked 🔓
Coffee & cake cravings: sorted ✅

So tell us…are you an early bird 🐦 or a night owl 🦉 when it comes to snacks and desserts???

(Either way, we've got you covered 😜)

🍂 Scotland vs USA, votes are rolling in 💪

✨ Our Harvest Festival Pop Up is THIS weekend ✨

The first pre-orders are in… and the votes show that Scotland is absolutely SMASHING IT!!! ⚖️

👉 Right now, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scotland has taken a strong early lead (around 80%) — but the 🇺🇸 USA is ready to rally!

As we've been so busy since Co-op shut for it's refurb, we've neglected posting about this Pop Up a bit 🙈

So, we still have tables available for Friday or Saturday evening. We're asking for pre-orders on mains (and preferably starters & desserts too)...so booking your table in advance is necessary.

Deadline for bookings tomorrow night is today...

What is an NYC cookie??? 🍪🤷‍♀️👇

Think BIG.

Think chunky.

Think crispy on the outside, gooey in the middle.

An NYC style cookie isn’t your standard flat biscuit! It’s a thick, indulgent treat packed and this one has chunks of chocolate & Oreo biscuit!

Jazz made these and I baked our first batch this morning and…they were all gone before 9am! 😳

So we’ve just pulled a fresh tray out of the oven...warm, gooey, and ready for you. Enjoying it at home? Pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds at a time till it's warm & gooey!
