The Porker has officially entered the chat! 🙈🤣

Soft Ashers roll stuffed with slow cooked pulled pork in rich gravy, warm stuffing and apple sauce… plus a pot of Thistly Cross cider gravy on the side for full dunking commitment.

It is giving full hog roast energy and Christmas Market vibes...and we are here for it 😅

It is filling…it is messy…it is outrageously tasty...and yes, this flavour combo is also available on a giant jacket potato known as The Hogfather, which went down a treat with some very happy visitors tonight 😁

And if you think those names are cheeky…just wait till you meet our Rudolph Ragu and Fat Santa 🎅

Pizzas, pancakes, FIFA, tunes..."class" 😎

This week everyone hand stretched and topped their own pizzas before I stone baked them to perfection 👌

They all did amazing...and yes the Hannibal Lecter dough mask happened...and no, it was NOT eaten 🙈🐑

The £1 dessert this week was two big fluffy American pancakes and they topped those themselves too 😋

My favourite moment of the night was overhearing someone say "Thursday nights are class" 🥰

As an added bonus, the Chaos Corner has been cleared again...hopefully for good this time! The last 8 weeks have been understandably crazy!

Our legal team (aka me) is looking into what we need to run a movie night at some point...and next week they’ve asked for crêpes again, but this time I’m teaching them how to cook them their selves 😳🤣

Each week we’re seeing plenty of familiar faces coming back plus new faces joining in too! 🥰 If you have teens or grandkids that might enjoy this on a Thursday, please spread the word!

Right...I’m off to remove flour from absolutely everything 🤣

Any ideas for more activities we could try??? Any local businesses that could offer something for them to do??? 🤔

If you cant beat 'em join 'em...lets talk Xmas 🎄

I am absolutely that person who walks into a supermarket and rolls their eyes at Christmas music in November 🙄

The one muttering 'it gets earlier and earlier" every year as the Christmas chocolates appear before you've even finished your Halloween stash!

Honestly, at this point I identify as The Grinch 🙈

Ive always struggled with the commercial side of Christmas and working in retail cranks that feeling up to full volume.

Back when I ran an artisan deli I had suppliers asking for my Christmas stock orders in July...JULY!!!

But, this industry is hanging on by the tiniest thread right now and every time I open Facebook its another small business signing off for the last time 😔

With the big brands already decked out in tinsel and pushing festive menus...clearly there's a demand 🤷‍♀️

So, if you can't beat 'em join 'em!

Our tree is up and twinkling away and yes we have Pigs In Blankets (and more!) on our new winter menu...and don't get me started on the desserts!

🦃 If you're not emotionally prepared for turkey season yet, dont panic...theres plenty more to choose from!

BUT, if Christmas IS your jam (or should that be cranberry sauce?) then Ho-Ho-Hold my Gingerbread Latte while I go full festive sparkle mode over here! ✨

Okay, so this isn’t my usual kinda video...I usually stick to the silly/goofy ones 🙈

But this Cookie Pie Tin? It deserved its own moment 🍪

Crispy edges, gooey middle, chunks of chocolate and a warm filling that’s basically a hug in dessert form 🤎

I’m not even a cookie or Nutella person… and I still loved it!

£6.50 and easily big enough to share (or not, no judgement 👀). Kinderella and Lotus Biscoff flavours available today...but only if you're quick 🙈

Don't say we never treat you!!! 😍

Jazz has out done herself this time! Our cookie pies have levelled up a bit and we’re kind of obsessed already!

If you tried our cookie pie slices, these are cousins not twins… same good vibes just a totally different personality!

These ones are all about that thick cookie base… gooey centre… proper spoon-worthy comfort! Stuffed with Nutella or Biscoff then finished with all the good bits on top too!

These are for the hardcore cookie fans out there! 🤘

And if you want to do it right…warm it slightly in the oven/airfryer and add a scoop of ice cream then dig straight in with a spoon…trust us on this one!

(They can go in the microwave, but you'd need to take it out the foil tin 🎆).

Perfect for sharing with your bestie or enjoyed over two sittings, these are £6.50 and worth every penny!

Come grab one and see what the fuss is about...someone will be about till 8ish this evening! 😁 We don't have many left already...

20 years to make… back on the menu today 😱

Nearly 20 years ago I wandered into a tiny cafe in Barcelona and ordered a hot chocolate. What arrived honestly blew my mind. It was rich. It was luxurious. It was THICK. I spent years trying to recreate it and nothing ever came close... until last January when I finally cracked it!

No hot chocolate powder in sight. Recipe made with melted Belgian chocolate and perfectly balanced with freshly whipped double cream and a sprinkle of chocolate shavings… mwah chef’s kiss 🤌

Now that winter’s rolling in again it’s the ultimate companion for dunking a flaky pastry, settling in at the window with a good book or doing a bit of people watching 👀

Not all change is a goodbye 🥰

Right…you know how I was having a dramatic moment earlier about changing our autumn window?

Well here’s the plot twist… change doesn’t always mean starting again from scratch. Sometimes it means moving with the seasons 🍂❄️

Our window hasn’t been replaced… it’s adapted! Just as we are learning to adapt to our new chapter here at Desserts & Co!

Our window has the same light up cloud raining tiny desserts (crocheted by my friend, Judith) but now we’ve swapped autumn leaves for a flurry of snowflakes, mushrooms for glittery baubles and pumpkins for jolly snowmen ⛄

Before anyone wonders…yes, I did message my Mum just to check she approved of the winter makeover. I hope I did it justice in her absence 🤞

So, we're ready for winter! It's gonna be snowy with a chance of desserts!!! ❄️🍰🍩🍪

The day I've dreaded has arrived 😭

🍂 I dreamed up our autumn window months ago and when my Mum was visiting she helped me turn the idea into something magical! ✨

When my Mum arrived, we were flat out getting ready for Co op closing for the refit so we kept putting it off... then suddenly, on one of the last days before she went home, we just made it happen. And it was perfect!

I’ve LOVED this autumn window so much, but seasons march on whether we’re ready or not 😞

So, as we shift our menu from cosy autumn to winter vibes... the window must change too 😭

❄️ I’ll share our new winter window later today 👀
