We did some baking today, but not for cupcakes. One of our customers brought in a Video 8/ Hi8 tape that was suffering from Sticky Shed Syndrome. This condition causes the tape to stick together, and in most cases, it snaps. Fortunately, there is a possible cure for this, which involves baking the tape at around 55 degrees Celsius for anywhere from 4 hours upwards.

Our recent repair work involved splicing audio cassettes for a customer who had 4 pre-recorded cassettes that had snapped.
