Crystal Clear Carp Stalking – Surface Fishing in the Lake District! 🐟

I spent two mornings stalking carp at Whins Pond, fishing in some seriously hot weather and crystal-clear water. Managed a few fish, lost a couple, and had some brilliant moments watching the carp take off the surface!

It was challenging but absolutely great fun. 👌

Join me as I head to the remote north coast of Knoydart for an unforgettable stalking trip. We stayed in a small cottage before setting out to stalk red deer and were lucky enough to come across a rare blonde roe buck—something you don’t see every day.

To round off the adventure, we loaded up the boat and travelled back along the spectacular Knoydart coastline to the vehicle.
