What a great way to kick off the summer! ☀️

Yesterday, the Conexiant Europe team enjoyed our annual summer party with a quiz, delicious buffet, drinks in the sunshine, and a very special appearance from Hattie the puppy, who stole plenty of hearts! 🐾

It’s been a busy few weeks for the team, with our editors and publishers attending industry events across Europe 🌍

🎤 Helen Bristow, Editor of The Pathologist, moderated this year’s Edinburgh Annual Transforming Digital Pathology & AI Conference in Scotland.

🤝 Gaurav Avasthi, Publisher of The Analytical Scientist, attended the 44th International Symposium on Capillary Chromatography and 21st GC×GC Symposium in Italy, connecting with industry experts and exploring the latest developments in analytical science.

🎙️ Jess Allerton, Deputy Editor at The Pathologist, attended ESCMID Global 2026 in Munich, Germany, conducting interviews and connecting with leaders across the field.

We also enjoyed some team time at our recent indoor office picnic - thanks to the unpredictable British weather ☔🍴

Our team swapped spreadsheets for spatulas and brought their baking skills to the table for our very own Bake Off!

A big thank you to everyone who baked, tasted and judged. It was a great excuse to get together and step away from our desks for tea and cake ☕
