🩷Breast Cancer Now🩷

Lanark Young Farmers are proud to announce that our charity for the year is Breast Cancer Now💕

We have chosen Breast Cancer Now as our charity to support this year as unfortunately some of our members have been impacted by the affects of breast cancer through family members or friends being diagnosed or passing away with breast cancer.

Any donations throughout the year will be deeply appreciated🩷

Our member are going to be participating in the Glasgow Pretty Muddy 5k on the 14th of June, they are all very excited to have some fun and get muddy whilst supporting a great cause🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Great night at Biggar Young Farmers and Carluke Young Farmers football and netball tournament! ⭐️
Well done to all that took part 😁

🏐Biggar and Carluke's Sports Tournament 🏐

On Wednesday night we had a netball team pop along to Symington Football Club for some midweek fun! Massive thank you to Lanark Young Farmers for joining with us to make a team.

A well done must go to Biggar Young Farmers for taking the clean sweep on the score board. As well as a thank you to Carluke Young Farmers and Biggar for hosting a great tournament 🤩

We would like to give a big well done and congratulations to Katie Stevenson, one of our Lanark members for winning 1st in the senior category for Lanarkshire photography 🤩

The theme this year was ‘Auction mart’ and as you can see Katie done a fantastic job in capturing that in her photo⭐️

A big congratulations goes out to everyone that placed🤩📸🐄

🚗Car treasure hunt 🚗

Last night we held our car treasure hunt starting at Lanark Market and finishing at the Westtown Farm, Nemphlar! Big well done and thanks to everyone who came along and attended ⭐️
Big thanks must also go to Eve Grieson for creating the route and the currie family for hosting the barbecue at the end, it was enjoyed by all 👍

Last night we had a team head along to Lesmahagow Young Farmers netball tournament! 🏐
The girls came away with third place! Big well done to them and to all those who took part🏅

Little bit of a delayed post, however on Monday 21st April some of our girls headed along to Carmichael to help out with their annual Easter egg hunt 🐰🌷

The rain thankfully held off until the end and they got a lovely day for it🐣

All the children had a great time (although some weren’t so keen on Mrs Easter Bunny🙈) as always and we hope to be back along next year to help out with their Easter festivities☺️🌷

We recommend heading along next year for the Easter egg hunt and to enjoy the other activities they have going on!
