Things that make me smile too

A restful two days on the boat sorting out a bit of an infection with herbs and natural remedies. I felt awful but relaxed creating this next piece. Combination of pens, acrylics and water colours. I am loving working on black paper as a base background.

Just been feeding the ducks and then spotted this guy watching me work. Definitely a bit of art appreciation going on or is he after food...!

Well it is a beautiful day in lancaster. I am sitting on the side of the canal on my picnic blanket and finishing this design whilst chatting to people passing. Making the most of a full day of sunny weather :). Hope you all are getting a vitamin D hit too z

A little peak of what I am working on later this afternoon. This morning i am painting a pals boat whilst he is away as a treat. I had bought some paint and chosen the wrong colour for me, but he likes it. So this morning I am doing practical painting. I may add some arty patterns at some point, but not sure.

The boat photo is my boat and possibly the only thing I have got working on her. The roof top garden. Engine and gas will hopefully happen soon, but engineers are proving a little unreliable. An6way enjoy your day. Please like and share

Wednesday is my art club afternoon with Julia. I initially went to meet new people in Lancaster and there are lovely people in the group. However, I get so involved in drawing that I have to remind myself to chat! Also I find it a little difficult to hear what others are saying sometimes.

Anyway, another early start to this morning and it's all about the bee 🐝 and possibly a dragonfly later. I shall be getting out my gold and sparkly wing paints. I just need to find them. Best thing for me to do on a rainy day. Bee happy ya'll 😊
