This weekend we attended 🧡 Jade & Samson were place 2nd in the gelding class, followed by Samson and I being place 3rd in the harness class.
We had a fabulous time with all our Suffolk horse friends and a big thank you to the Dunnett’s for putting us up and their hospitality!

Something a bit different!

In a fortnights time we are very privileged to be taking part in a joint display to music with a Percheron, Clydesdale and a Shire! It’s been a while since I’ve learnt a dressage test never mind ride one!
Any tips for remembering a test is very welcome!!

Great Eccleston Show - Sunday
Concours d’elegance - place 4th
This was a first for both Samson and I! Samson wasn’t fazed by the dress and took it all in his stride 🧡

Great Eccleston Show - Saturday
Samson went out in his harness for the second time at a show. Samson was much calmer this time and took it all in his stride 🧡 this ring had so much going on from lots of different trade stands and tractor pulling running. Samson took it all in, even with those blinkers on, taking 2nd place!

First outing in the harness in a strong class getting placed 2nd 🤩 This was a lot for Samson to take in with blinkers and jingling chains, but we survived 😅just!
Thank you to for sharing her knowledge and expertise which was much needed. Also thank you to for lending us a wanty strap to make it possible for us to show.

Cumberland Show 2025
Inhand Heavy horse - Samson & Jade took 3rd place & Ridden Heavy Horse 3rd we also took 3rd place!
Soggy day but great to be back out!
