Really sad to hear about Richard's recent passing. Those of you who knew the man and loved his music will probably have already seen this, but it doesn't do any harm in sharing it again. I remember travelling to see Killing Miranda for the first time, on my own, at the Underworld back in 2000 and saw them live several times after that! R.I P. Richard. 🖤

📅 in 1859, Charles Darwin's landmark book 'On the Origin of Species' was published, causing quite a stir at the time. 'The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing' included a little tribute to the man and his work on their 2010 debut album. The band have been on hiatus for a while. Fingers crossed they might return at some stage to inject a bit of punk back into steamPUNK! ;)

Had a great day today at the LAPIS Conference in St Annes! One of the talks, by the esteemed writer Andy Roberts, looked at flying saucer cults of the 1960s. Andy was informative, dry & hugely entertaining. Amongst the bits & pieces & observations was this amazing track. I'll be listening to it all the way back home to Lancaster! CHEERS! 🤘🙂🤘
