Despite the best efforts of good friends I didn't get to the last Black Sabbath gig. It really did turn out to be the last Ozzy Osbourne gig. No more tours indeed. I'm sat here boo hooing about someone I obviously didn't know at all, but who's musical output I absolutely loved. I'm gutted. Very much so. 😭

The last 12 months have been pretty tough one way or another. My DJ output has been mostly zero. I obviously still love music but circumstances haven't necessarily allowed me to express that. I suspect I'm never going to be cutting edge, but I hope I'm not quite done with just yet. After relocating, my HQ is almost ready for action. I hope The Jezebel's Lounge Radio Station might have me back after a ridiculously long period of leave? Possibly? Also local club nights? Maybe? Would anyone come along? 🤔

It is funny what fires your enthusiasm. I read something about Rudyard Kipling earlier today, which made me think about the late great Peter Bellamy, which made me think about Carl & Jane. Regular performers at Lancaster Maritime Festival, they really put on a great show. I don't know what they are up to now, but this is fantastic stuff. 🖤
