Thank you to everyone who came down and “danced for The Duchess” today!

Huge thanks to Scooby's Street School Somerset and Fit & Fabulous in Somerset for the amazing fun classes, to Langport Arms Hotel for so kindly donating use of the Fab sprung floor ballroom, to the One Stop for taking care of ticket sales, Tesco for donating healthy fruit snacks and of course Skipper Ian and the volunteer crew of The Duchess of Cocklemoor for providing the incredibly unique community boat experiences on the beautiful River Parrett! What a special town Langport is! 🌾🦆💚

As promised, here's the deets on this super-fun fundraiser happening on 6th September 2025!

Everyone is welcome - there are dance classes for ALL age groups. Tickets are now from the One Stop - including Companion tickets for anyone accompanying someone attending a dance class (companion tickets are free ).

in the last five years I’ve never seen a Christmas market as busy as the today nearly every shop in town was vibrant with people. It was so positive to see. Thank you so much to everyone involved that made this happen.
