Brilliant start to week 3 of the Vick Paxton album sessions at Fuzzface. Creating one of the most magical records I’ve had the pleasure to work on. Really wanted this songs vocals to sound as delicate and intimate as possible and couldn’t believe how perfect the Coles 4038 Neve 1073OPX combo turned out.The OPX has an insane amount of noise free headroom - way more than my 1073 DPA, yet oozes just as much warmth and vibe. No eq, no compression needed. Record ready direct from the source 🤩
