Studio Essentials : Mellotron
Working on overdubs for .mx's new record made me think about my go-to gear here at Fuzzface Studio. Lets go!
First up, the trusty Micro. To me, Mellotron is the ultimate keyboard/synthesizer. It adds layers and textures that are timeless and awe-inspiring. You'll realize it's been used in almost every second song you've heard over the last 50 years, across genres.
The beauty of Mellotron lies in its subtlety, so a 2-octave keyboard is all you need. The Micro version is perfect for the studio, always ready to impart its golden tones. I'm obsessed 😍
