Pollack are a favourite for many sea anglers but in recent years they’ve undergone a decline.

The Pollack Pact is a simple reminder to fish responsibly, only keep what you need for personal consumption and give released fish the best chance of survival:

🐟Release immature fish ( < 50cm)
🐟Keep what you need, release what you don’t. We recommend retaining a maximum of 5 fish per angler per day.
🐟Circle hooks help avoid deep hooking
🐟Descending devices get fish back safely

It’s voluntary - but following it helps protect the future of our sport.

One last outing on the boat for a while! Encounterd a few snags losing an achor and fish diving deep into holes, manageed to sort them out alright! Turned out to be enjoyable enough and good viewing, time for a break though and I'll look forward to winter pike.

This will probably be my last outing on the boat for a while!
Sometimes I go fishing and believe it or not it's not always enjoyable, sometimes it's tough work, the water can be rough AF! The camera sometimes takes away from the experience and you just can't wait to get home, you loose tackle you get snaged up and it's just not working out.. However this time out was perfect, perfect conditions, lots of fish and it was well enjoyed! Good for the head and good for the soul.

So I thought I lost this footage! Turned out my Camera had the wrong date and it saved it to a May 2024 file. Random! Nice little days fishing, its only 8 minutes long if yous don't mind giving it a watch. Much appreciated 🙏 Really enjoyed the beauty and the birds during the making of this one.

It was just last week I took a chance off the rocks at sunset and it paid off! This time I got the boat out for a few flicks and again. Plenty of fish about the local coastline! Thanks for watching
