Saltash Town Council revealed some of the flowers planted in Fore Street have been taken from public planters.

The displays were created by the council’s Service Delivery Team as part of ongoing efforts to make the town centre more attractive and welcoming for residents and visitors.

A charity which works to support families facing terminal illness and grief has been recognised on the national stage.

Since launching Gunners Kids has gone from strength to strength. Having been founded in memory of Chris Gunner, who passed away in 2024, the charity was established to support families with children when a parent or close family member has a terminal illness.

Led entirely by volunteers, it provides a wide range of services for families, including support boxes, activity days, information sessions, drop-in events, outreach services and other practical and emotional support programmes designed to reduce isolation and create meaningful memories during difficult times.
