Can you find space in your heart for this beautiful girl?

Issy the young Cane Corso came to K9 Crusaders Dog Welfare in Cornwall after being abandoned at a vet with a severe case of cherry eye and entropion. When she first arrived, she was in pain and distress, and has since spent more than a year in care, undergoing multiple surgeries to get her back to health.

Despite this difficult start, Issy remains gentle, affectionate and resilient.

K9 Crusaders Dog Welfare is now hoping to find Issy a loving home in a strong and stable environment, offering patience, commitment, routine and lots of affection for this sweet dog.

This winter, Bodmin Life magazine's front cover stars are two of the wonderful reindeer at Enchantment Cornwall-reindeer and friends who will be busy, busy, busy over the coming weeks, spreading cheer at festive events across Cornwall.

Enchantment Cornwall's team are dedicated to educating the public on animal care, holding sessions at their site on Bodmin Moor, as well as visiting local schools. To owner Dannii Simmonds and her team, it's all about 'incorporating education, animals and personal development'.

Adie Dove, founder of KBSK and The SPACE in Bodmin, has appealed to the community to support their winter toy collection, ensuring every child in the local area can have a magical Christmas.

They are accepting new toys only, plus Christmas treats and food so they can distribute parcels to those who need it.

You can drop toys off at the Lidl collection anytime, or any donations to The SPACE at the following times...

Mondays - 4-9pm
Tuesdays - 5-6.30pm
Wednesdays - 10.30am-6pm
Thursdays - 4-8.30pm
Saturdays - 9.30am-5pm
