Three days. Three countries. Two 4,000m summits. At just 17 years old, Finn is believed to be the first teenager from Cornwall to successfully summit two 4,000m mountains in just three days.
After months of training, fundraising and preparation, Finn travelled to the Alps with one goal: to climb Mont Blanc in aid of HighGround Charity.
Sadly, an unprecedented heatwave, melting glaciers and a number of fatalities on the mountain meant the guides made the difficult but absolutely necessary decision to withdraw all climbers. It was a huge disappointment, but safety had to come first.
Rather than heading home, Finn embraced a new challenge.
Travelling with people he'd never met before and flying abroad on his own for the first time, he successfully summited Gran Paradiso (4,061m) – the highest mountain entirely within Italy – before going on to climb Weissmies (4,017m) in Switzerland. Two 4,000m peaks, across three countries, in just three days.
Reflecting on the experience, Finn said:
"The lessons I learnt from the professionals are ones I'll carry with me for the rest of my life. This climb has opened doors for my future that I never imagined, and to summit not one, but two 4,000m peaks in three days after Mont Blanc was cancelled was an incredible feeling."
Finn has now raised an amazing £4,211.26 towards his £5,000 target for HighGround Charity, supporting veterans, reservists and service leavers as they transition into civilian life.

Sometimes the greatest achievement isn't the summit you planned, but how you respond when the mountain changes the journey.
