Happy Easter from all at Go Teach

On the road to Emmaus, two Disciples met the risen Lord Jesus. Have you ever wished that you were there to hear what he said, as "beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself"? (Luke 24:26, ESV).

How did they not realise it was him? They themselves later said that their hearts "burned" as he spoke with them. How wonderful it was to them when they finally realised who had sat down to eat with them!

Be encouraged, as you serve the Lord among children and teens, that he is still stirring hearts and opening eyes, changing hearts and saving sinners, by his atoning death and mighty resurrection power. May you feel and know his power and presence this Easter!

We remember with gratitude the life and service of Peter Jermyn, the Chairman and a trustee of Go Teach for many years. His funeral today was full of his infectious and sincere love for Jesus Christ. Countless people owe this man of God a great deal. He would never have taken any credit, of course, but would always have pointed to his Saviour, Jesus Christ.
