Weekend Legends Presenter Zena was at The Alexandra last night for the opening night of Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, and what a brilliant night of theatre!
A superb cast, wonderful staging and brilliant acting kept the audience guessing right until the very end. And there was far more laughter and humour throughout than I expected, which made it even more enjoyable.
It’s the classic British whodunit at its absolute best!
And I loved the final touch. Once you discover who did it, and the audience is applauding, a member of the cast steps forward to remind us that we're now part of the secret too! So no spoilers from me! 🤫
Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap is on at the Birmingham Alexandra Theatre until Saturday, 12th September 2026.
