Not quite the sentiment of this ⬆️ but I am definitely all about the journey! We were meant to be in France round about now exploring Cognax ahead of getting married there next year (LESS THAN A YEAR!!!) but instead, there’s a chance that we might have to stop off at a service station today and I am EXCITED!!
Service station, airport, tiny village petrol station. THE BEST! 11/10 = service station with a burger king and an M&S. Who’s with me?
I think I’ve used up all my adjectives for this shoot. It just keeps on giving. So proud and honoured to be a part of it.

⚡️🌈Boho Bowie Bespoke paper wristbands🌈⚡️
For me, it’s all in the little details! You can’t have a festival wedding without going the whole 🐗 and giving your guests custom wristbands to wear. It’s the tinyest thing but I think it really rounds off and completes the whole vibe! ⚡️🌈
They’re a really affordable addition that adds a big sense of occasion and acts as a lovely sentimental keepsake for afterwards! 💕💕💕All about the feelings here 🙋🏻‍♀️

🌵HOW NOT TO KILL YOUR PLANT BABES🌵
I am SO DONE with shedding some tears because yet again I’ve slayed another 🌱 It makes me so sad!! 💔 But I mean at this stage it kind of feels inevitable that they’ll go from plush and lush to well...crunchy mush 😂

So you can imagine my ABSOLUTE JOY✨ when Sarah appeared in my DMs confiding her secret plans to solve literally all my murderous, houseplant woes!
It’s the best idea!! Are you headed off on a sticky stay-cay 🥵🔥🍂 and worried about how your plant babes will fair? Never fear, Brighton Plant Sit is here! 😂🦸🏼‍♀️ Seriously though, such a good shout! I was over the MOON to be involved in illustrating these beauts and am checking my inbox daily to see if a sneek peak of the final website had landed. The first draft was incredible so you really do need to check it out once she’s launched!
Congratulations on your new business Sarah! You are the queen of the houseplant jungle. Quite honestly, I reckon I’d come back to way healthier & happier ones 😂 they’ll be wishing me away!!

🗺Another cute illustrated map released into the wild!
I probably don’t shout about these enough really but I’m going to start to because I REALLY LOVE creating these illustrated maps. Manifestation and all that...🔮 They’re a fairly new offering for my business but something that feels like it resonates with a lot of people. Like you get how special they are. ✨
They can be created for small businesses to have as a cute way of shouting “we’re over here!!!🙋🏻‍♀️” or as presents or keepsakes for a location with a special place in your heart🖤. We got engaged last January in Lapland in a really REALLY northerly place called Saariselka (incredible!!) and I’m 100% going to create a map of the place and mark on all the cute things we did and all the things we saw. I mean, how can I not illustrate a snow covered cabin and a reindeer??!! Such good memories!
D’y’know, I’ve lived on the south coast all of my life, and mostly around the Portsmouth area and yet I never really knew all the gems that Portchester has to offer. Before, it’s just been a through place to get to my Grandma’s in Cosham but because of doing a few illustrated maps of the area, I’ve taken myself on a few research recces and there are some really pretty secret spots! Honestly have an explore if you’re local. I’d start with the wicor marina. It’s a really lovely walk with a pub and a cafe marking the start and the end! 👍🏼😂

Today’s been a scorcher hasn’t it! I’ve been hiding in the shade and trying to keep the puppy’s paws as cool as possible? How’s everyone else been spending it?
This evening though calls for a ice cold one of these though because I’ve also been wading through more than my fair share of laptop issues. Always exactly when you don’t need them... 🤦🏻‍♀️
I’m so excited for the hosting this event on 9th August. It’s such a fun idea and just what the doctor ordered! It was so nice designing and illustrating the menu for them. SUPER CUTE, RIGHT? 👯‍♀️
I think there’s just a few more spaces left but I could be wrong, over half went in the first 24 hours of them announcing so don’t sit on this one, be quick if you fancy it!

Yowzersssss!!! Have you seen this shoot???!!!!!
After months (and I mean MONTHS!) in the making (looking at you Corona 😒) pulled together an unstoppable team of really truly wonderful suppliers to create the happiest, most fun, festival vibe wedding shoot EVER!
I am so grateful to have been asked to be involved. Not only did I get to play and make some SUPER FUN stuff (all will be revealed soon, but sneak peek here⬆️) but I’ve made some real pals here, which is just the best.

LOOK AT ALL THE COLOURS!

We’ve been keeping this shoot under wraps for what quite honestly feels like a couple of years but this absolute dream team of wedding suppliers collaborated on this shoot in early March this year and it was just so JOYFUL! I mean, how could it not have been with this theme and these people!?..
The theme was colourful kitsch with a nautical twist to compliment the characterful blank canvas venue that is . Gorgeous GORGEOUS sally from sprinkled her magic over the whole thing and coordinated us all into this colourful eclectic daydream of DREAMS. Everything was stunning, the couple, the cake, the dresses, the suits, the accessories, the celebrant...the bar🥂and I don’t want to spoil any of the surprises so go and check it out!..

So excited for Salt Cafe that they’re able to open their doors again!

Any other local businesses that need to put themselves back on the map, give me a shout! These illustrated maps are one of my absolute favourite things to work on!

The best way to add some personality into your business materials whilst also saying “hey 🙋🏻‍♀️ come check us out ✨”

We are opening fully on Saturday 4th July at The Beach Hut at Trafalgar Wharf and Salt Café at WicorMarine Yacht Haven.

A few housekeeping points.......

Both cafe’s will be taking limited bookings for brunch at 9am, 11am and 1pm (4+ people). Otherwise we will operate, as usual, on a first come first served basis.

We are still running a full takeaway service.

At the point of ordering, all customers will be asked for contact details to put on our system to aid the ‘track and trace’ scheme. They will be kept for 21 days.

Where possible we will ask customers to queue outside to allow other customers and staff to move around safely.

We cannot wait to welcome everyone back properly and have our little cafés buzzing again! 😁

YASSSSS!!! The salt cafe and the beach hut cafe are reopening this Saturday which not only means I’ve finally got a lovely pitstop on my walk back for some tasty grub BUT it also means that this cutey of map has been released out into the wild for all to see! ...
These illustrated maps are some of my most favourite things to work on and this one was no exception! Just look how joyful they are! So anyone out there looking for an illustrated map to shout out where you are or what you’ve got to offer pleeeeeaaaaasssssseee hit me up because honestly, it is SO MUCH FUN! You’ll have a blast designing it with me, promise!! (😂😂🤣way to play it cool Lauren...!! 🤣 But seriously...map making!! 🌍✨)..
