*** Buses Update ***

Having spoken to the traffic management team I can confirm that buses will still be coming through to the terminus for the duration of the works.
They will be doing half of the road at a time and therefore buses will still be able to get through.

What a year it has been!

We look forward to what 2026 has to bring, and from us all at Farnley Community Centre to you and yours, we wish you the very best of a Merry Christmas & a prosperous New Year! 🎅 🥳

Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers, supporters, & beneficieries over the past 12 months.

Most of all, thank you to all of you who have shown your loyal support, shared a post, attended an event, come to the cafe, and the list goes on. Without you, not only is it not possible, but pointless.
All the best for the year ahead. 🙌

CANCELLED PACT MEETING!

Good evening all just advise that this evenings PACT meeting will not be going ahead.
All literature and dates that we received indicated that the meeting was this evening and I have just this minute being informed that is apparently scheduled for the 22nd Jan although this date is in doubt.

We will confirm the next PACT date in the near future.

Last meetings of 2025.

On Monday, 22nd December, we will be hosting the local Neighbourhood Watch meeting at 6pm, covering the local areas.

From 7pm, we will have the local Neighbourhood Policing Team attending for their scheduled PACT (Police & Communities Together) meeting.
This is your opportunity to ask/speak to the police directly about the concerns in your community.

Just as a reminder, we will be having our FREE Family Xmas Activity event tomorrow, 12:30-3:30pm.
Come and see Santa in his Grotto, and get a present from him, along with a lucky dip, and activites, all for no cost.

What an amazing first night of the 2025 Santa Sleigh Tours. 🛷
Despite the weather being a little glum to start with, it cleared up, and Wortley didn't disappoint us in coming out to see Santa. 🎅
