Less than 24hrs ⏱️ until the Farnley & Wortley Funday. 😀

Lots going on tomorrow so come along and have some fun 🤩. Oh and did we mention that it’s free 🆓 to attend.

So whether you want an ice cream 🍦 a donkey ride 🫏 or maybe you want to take part in the famous 😅 Farnley & Wortley Talent Show 🎤 get yourself along 12-4.

We have 13 bags of packed lunches left over from the Healthy Holidays Camp.
Each lunch has a sandwich, fruit, cookie, bottle of water.
It’s is dated for tomorrow and I really don’t want to see it go to waste.
It needs to be collected this evening in the next couple of hours from Farnley Community Centre.

EY'UP! To celebrate Yorkshire Day this Friday, we will have on offer Free Scones & Cream with a good ol' cup of Yorkshire Tea at the Cafe between 8am-12pm. 🫖

We'll have the ball pool & soft play available along with the Giant Connect 4 & Pool Table to use. 🎱

Come along & join us in celebrating all that's great about Yorkshire 🥳

We're thrilled to once again co-host the Farnley & Wortley Fun Day on Friday, 8th August, from 12-4pm. 🥳

There will be lots of activities on the day, and best of all, it is completely FREE! 🆓

Come along and enjoy the afternoon with donkey rides 🫏 , face painting 🎨, balloon artist 🎈, and Wildlife Encounters 🦅, plus much, much more.

There are still places available to book your child onto the Breeze Summer Healthy Holidays Camp!

If your child is aged 8-12 and in receipt of free school meals, they are free to join the camp, which is free of charge.
The day is full of games & activities and includes breakfast and lunch, with a trip away on the Friday of each week.

If you need support in booking your child onto the camp, please reach out, and I can support with it.

The cafe is open as usual throughout the school summer holidays. ✏️

During that period the kids breakfast will be £1. 😌 💷

Softplay is out and available to use.

We are proud to be the only third sector organisation that is facilitating a Healthy Holidays program this Summer break.
If you would like to book your child on please go to https://healthyholidays.leeds.gov.uk/ to register and book their sessions.

Admittedly, the site isn't particularly user-friendly, so if for any reason you need any support in booking the sessions, please reach out to Peter through the community centre or email [email protected] and he will support in booking those sessions.
Please don't miss out on the opportunity to send your child to these free activity days.

This coming Monday, the 7th July at 7pm, West Yorkshire Police's Neighbourhood Policing Team will be at the Community Centre for their PACT meeting.

If you have concerns or want to hear what is happening with the community, please come along to this meeting.

There will be drinks available and we welcome everyone along to these important meetings.

If you are unable to attend but would like a matter raised on your behalf, then please email Peter on [email protected] or send a DM.
