Sun exposure doesn’t affect everybody in the same way.
Some people notice wrinkles first. Others develop pigmentation, redness, visible blood vessels or changes in skin texture.
The reason is that skin ageing is influenced by much more than sunlight alone. Genetics, skin type, hormones and lifestyle all affect how the skin responds over time.
This is one reason why two people of the same age can look very different despite having similar levels of sun exposure.
Understanding your own pattern of ageing is often more useful than comparing yourself to others.
