It’s been a great first half of the year here at the studio. I’ve had the privilege of working with a lot of amazing people on some really exciting projects. Had some spare time yesterday after finishing a mix so I decided to rewire and upgrade the control room with our new outboard gear. I used the new set up on some mixs yesterday last night and feeling very excited about how they’re sounding. New gear includes:

- Chandler Curve Bender
- Chandler RS660
- Chandler REDD.47 Mix Pre’s
- Urei 1176 Rev H’s (stereo matched pair)
- API 2500
- Overstayer NT-02A Saturator
- Acme Motown DI
- Audioscape EQP-A Pair

I am very excited to announce that I will be releasing my first solo single “In A Minute” this Friday via my own label .bam.records 🤟

I have been working on a bunch of solo material quietly in the background over the last 2/3 years during any downtime between working on albums and EPs with Eades and various other studio projects at .bam.studios .

Originally I wrote and recorded these songs just for me as a purely creative project making something entirely on my own from start to finish minus the drums which were recorded by the amazing and the mastering which was done by Graeme at !! Spent a lot of time in the old studio experimenting with fun guitar tones, weird vocal processing and arrangements etc delving into uncharted territory for me creatively.

Had a last minute cancellation / postponed session in the studio this month so had a bit of extra time open up. If anyone wants to work on some tunes together get in touch!

The studios also available for dry hire with myself as an engineer. So if any producers have any projects coming up any they need a space to record in, I’d be happy to help.

Incase you have not yet seen on our website - the studio has both free accommodation and ‘The Grange’ which is our luxury additional accommodation for people looking for further privacy and comfort. Here are a few snaps of the free bedroom / living room space. In this room, we can sleep up to 6 people with two singles and two doubles. We also have camp beds we can blow up for you if needed! TV, PlayStation 4, board games, Netflix are all included.
