I’ve grown up following in my stepdads footsteps…👣

My stepdad, which always has been and is now my dad will always be my biggest inspiration, running a business and the constant strive for more in life. I saw the freedom he gave my mum and us as a family and my first shout was I’d love to be just like him one day…❤️

Telling my mum “I want to be just like dad one day”

Being a girl in entrepreneur world… daunting! I know, being told at every encounter “you’re just a girl, You’ll never make it” I started to believe every negative thought, Never wanting to put my all into my business,
The people who pushed me through my mum and dad. ‘Use the negativity as drive’, my big cousin used to drill into my head “remember who the f*** you are!”🥰

This is the drive and determination I have got and where it has got me today, proud of every step I take and every move I make within my business.⚡️

You need to find people that align with you throughout the journey, not hitting you with money figures in your face their end result, CONSTANTLY!

Here’s what I’ve seen 4 years being a social media marketer and now a mentor😬

In the last 4 years social media has changed A LOT! So keeping up with every new feature, new app and trends its giving chaotic! I feel you.🥲

Now I know how confusing it can be and falling into that quick fix trap we have all been there and done that! Your business is worth more than a quick fix that could honestly do more damage than good! Instead of following that 4 step framework 50 other people are using you really need to focus on your business, your brand voice and goals, you are unique and your voice is going to help you stand out!

The thing that actually makes me cringe the Most that I see more often that I should is,

COACHES OVER PROMISING AND UNDERDELIVERING!!😭

Literally robbery! This is so common and breaks the trust people have to invest in coaches. I have been in this situation before so I know how you feel disheartened, drained and like you have just throw your money down the drain (yeah 2.5k later…) A lot of coaches have the same framework for one as they do the other 10 people they are coaching they, over promise every little thing and then underdeliver meaning you feel lost and then its always turned around to fall back on you as your fault! 🫣

Working with mentors and coaches is a big thing for people and the only way you can get people to trust you and understand is by building them connections and showing up as you authentically instead of following and copying everyone else.💗

I know how draining it is, You’re great at what you do, posting consistently, showing your face and following what every guru is saying…🫣

But you’re left thinking “Why aren’t I gaining more sales I’m literally doing everything”😖

Now I used to feel the same in a constant drained and frustrated cycle thinking “this content is 10/10” when actually it hardly got seen and I had no clients, most of my clients have been there too!

Its disheartening…💔

In reality being good isn’t enough anymore, you need to be seen as the go to business, Have a reason why they should choose you and why you’re different while also building them emotional connections in the dm’s and engaging your community, this builds the trust and reflects the values your business and clients need!💗

Here’s what happened when my famous client, yes famous you read that right approached me😅

I was as shocked as you, or was I? With master chef fame behind him and years of cooking on luxury yachts for higher individuals, some how social media became a chore and felt impossible😩

His expertise shone In the kitchen where he was most comfortable, and not sat at his laptop scrambling for content ideas, He approached me burnt out wanting more freedom for himself.

So, we created that content driving his ideal clients in the ones that NEED him not just like the look of the food (although it was amazing, his famous cheesecake TO DIE FOR😅), He started showing up authentically, connecting with his people and started building the relationships for people to remember him.

You can be AMAZING at what you do, and even have some ‘fame’ behind you, but without the right way to show up, it won’t get you the transformation you want✨🩷

I’ll never forget the moment when I was showing up consistently, doing everything I saw online, yet my sales literally never grew… Frustrating and disheartening, I get it…😖

But I realized theres more to it than just being “consistent” my voice and messaging didn’t align with me that was the missing piece, as soon as I realized this everything changed.

I know how draining it is to spend hours on content for it not to get seen or attract any sales, constantly thinking what is the point and wanting to give up! (That is definitely not the answer) And honestly once you learn how to utilize your voice and messaging it changes everything😅

Its all about putting your true authentic self in front of your people, your people will be attracted to you naturally, your voice is your super power your unique tool to have your clients waiting with their cards in hand wanting you to help them! Bonus if you can align your voice with your content you have content that literally draws in them clients (This is the magic)🪄

The negativity literally fed my energy⚡️

I know how you feel I was once that girl that got told “you’ll never make it”, “It’s not stable for a future” and “it’s just your hobby”, disheartening right…💔

I remember sitting there fighting with myself whether I was making the right decision and omg don’t get me wrong I listened once and put my business on hold and it was the worst thing I felt lost! I had a long hard talk with myself and realized I wasn’t fulfilling the life I wanted for myself, I then started again from 0 it was tough, But it was the best decision I made 🥰

I’ve learnt that you are in charge of your life and happiness and I am now getting paid for my voice to be heard, your voice is your unique tool, your superpower. The tool that makes you unique to everyone else in your industry.. SO USE IT!!!

Its a very controversial topic, But I know how you feel desperate for that sale, for that client to say “YES”

You are trying everything overwhelmed with online talk of this “10 step guide” or 5 ways to be fully booked”😖

What they don’t actually tell you is HOW you’re are meant to implement this in to your business they give you what they see, that works for their business and off you go just make it work for yours!

Honestly I’m going to burst that bubble 🫧, It’s giving money grabber, They see you struggling pitch it to you cold dm style, knowing you are willing to try ANYTHING to make it work.

I know that sick feeling that anxiety in your stomach, overwhelmed stuck in a game of tug of war in your head.🤢

Constantly thinking “Will it work or will i be throwing money down the drain”😕

I get it i’ve been there stuck in a flight or fight mode with myself. Ive been on both sides the side where the investment isn’t all its painted to be and hasn’t worked out. But i’ve also been in the situation it’s all worked out every single pence was worth it!

That overwhelmed feeling, the torn feeling about what if it works and what if it doesn’t. honestly i feel you, Making the investment and not getting the turnaround you were promised, i’ve been in them shoes and wouldn’t want you to experience the heartbreak of it not working out.👀
