It doesn't matter if your kicking off a club night or a kitchen party. This tune is epic! It sets the tone and were having a party.

This tune was always going to get a mention on this page soon enough but I've hurried it along a little because checked out our story post recently and I'm hoping they'll help us out and share this post on their stories? 😉

Another band I can’t wait to play at the club night!

It excites me to show this band off and find people who also know this band, it’s like your in on a big secret because not a lot of people know them.

And I’m guessing that’s got something to do with why their not about anymore? Not enough people knew them?

Such a shame because these guys were great. ❤️

I can't wait to play this one is the club and see everyone jump at the sound of the intro. 🙌🙌🙌

At the time of writing this, I'm not even sure if they're still together? This band are big enough to be on their fourth album now, playing massive shows with a loyal fanbase but have never had that big hit to project them.

If you've not heard of them, give them a shout because the track I picked is a cracker and it's not even a single. ❤️

Only a job for the passionate, a hobby for most. For me, the reward is a kind of bliss. Nothing better than finding a new band that are relatively unheard of, and it tickles your fancy so much that all you want to do is playing it on repeat for days!!!

Now we're in a golden age where bands are recording at home and putting out music themselves. There's loads of blogs out there. Heaps of playlists to listen to and more communities growing in groups. GOLDEN!

It's two way traffic, they want to be heard, we want to listen. Everything is here for us. We just need to be amongst it.

I have found a couple of bands that I'm looking forward to interviewing very soon. One of the bands has that song that has the "repeat" factor I was talking about. Watch this space.

If you want to get involved please DM me on here.

Right when vinyl was "old hack" and digital download and iPods were booming. A friend of my best mate showed him this song on vinyl. I can only imagine it added to the magic of hearing this song for the first time. What an introduction!

Awesome record!

It was 2000, we were 17 years old and Alphbetaical had just come out. How lucky were we! Another summer soundtrack.

I’m going to go over each one of these individually in more detail later. I just wanted to get it out there that this is a community, and it’s not going to work any other way.

I’m not hiding behind anything, I’m just one guy doing it all myself at the mo. If this is to grow in audience size and content wise we need a team, a community.

If your interested at all about any of these and want find out more, first base is 100% join the Facebook group. Click link in bio and go from there. Revelrytones.com Facebook Group.

I’ve picked Cassius because it was the first time I got really excited about this band. Although I’ll be totally honest I didn’t get them straight away.

I knew I liked them but was yet to figure them out. I think their sound and style was so different to anything that was around at the time.

And of course, after a couple of listens to Antidotes it soon became the soundtrack to our late summer nights. A crowd pleaser for our house parties.

Revelrytones is an Indie Club Night and magazine that celebrates dance music. Label it as you will, Indie Rock And Roll or Alternative Rock. We simply mean bands that make you want to dance.

Revelrytones was first created in 2013. After interviewing many bands, many articles and album reviews and a Club Night in Sydney Australia, Revelrytones unfortunately, had to go on hold.......

Due to the horrendous situation Covid-19 has put us in, Revelrytones has a second wind.

With its principals of a) finding new bands/artists and b) Wanting to show them off by creating as much content on them as physically possible. Revelrytones has more purpose and relevance to the unsigned or “band on the up” than ever before. When a new band is ready to show off their new songs after many rehearsals and/or studio time, and the songs are ready for the local music scene. I fear that music venues will not return to “normal” for some time. Even when restrictions are lifted, will the small music venues that we love be thriving? Will it even be moderate? And these are my thoughts, coming from someone that wants to promote bands and give them a slot at the Revelrytones Club Night!
