2025 was unprecedented in so many ways, darkness has become very common. The technology industry has taken a huge leap in terms of A.I and it is massively impacting our environment, our intake of information, our ability to communicate and understand the content constantly consumed. Everything I see now has me asking, ‘is this real or is it A.I?’ It is becoming hard to know. This means people can lie about anything for profit, power…world domination…who knows. We are being taken for fools. But what’s worst of all is the photos you are making of yourself in a delightful forest or surrounded by candy is costing something like a lake of water, so excuse me for not liking your post. This year A.I created as much carbon-emissions as the whole of New York City….this is madness.
As witches and pagans we worship the earth. We are eco friendly, we are striving to heal Gaia. It baffles me that some are using A.I for magic, writing books, photos of gods. It’s the definition of total hypocrisy.
What can you do?
Activity REJECT AI if you know it. Unlike/unshare AI content if you didn’t know at the time. ASK ppl for help. Use eco search engines like for answers. Turn A.I bots off all software. Use the library for information!
Seek out human connection in daily life! Un install CHAT GBT. Go back to text messages, write letters, take pictures on an actual camera, go to the humans on the check out. (I need more meaningful interactions, not less.) pay artists to create for you, share real artists work.
I am not perfect, I’m learning as I go. If ppl call me out on sharing the A.I I will absolutely delete it.
I use no AI on the podcast, or to write emails etc. I’m going to make this year analog again.
The BWP logo is partly AI generated which I dislike more each day, and you will be happy to know I am employing a real life artist to create a new one as we speak!
I am passionate, this affects us ALLLL, plants, animals, human generations now and in the future.
