On the latest episode of Warship: Life in the Royal Navy, we delve into the King's naval service, including his time captaining HMS Bronington.
Sharing his memories of serving with the then Prince of Wales was Peter Still, who was coxswain aboard HMS Bronington and developed a strong rapport with the future King during his time onboard the minesweeper.
Peter joined the Royal Navy at 15 and served for 35 years, serving all over the world.
Peter chats to Kate Humble about his memories on tonight's episode.
Sadly since filming the series Peter passed away, and we'd like to dedicate tonight's episode to him and send all our condolences to Peter's family and friends.
Fair winds and following seas, Peter.
