Tungsten is excited to welcome James Pierechod onto the board as a Non Exec Director. James will be helping to accelerate the growth ambitions of our production and studio facilities.
The influence of GenAI, CG and multidisciplinary productions have meant that we need support to continually sit on the bleeding edge of creative and production capabilities. We're proud of our heritage in high-end filming, VFX, and visual engineering. And now we're excited to add this functionality into our working repertoire.
"James has a real passion for innovation and creativity - we've worked with him for years before, in his agency days and in a production capacity. So, this marriage between great ideas and a better use of technology is going to mirror well with our ambition to tell better stories. We're looking forward to adapting and growing our business together." - Andrew Beniston
Since launching in 2019, Tungsten has been creating exciting, original, and technically impressive video content for the likes of Netflix, Amazon, M&S, Pepsi, and Rolls Royce across multiple agencies, and Production facilities. But, in the past 12 months Tungsten has undergone a huge commercial, operational, and CVP transformation, and bringing Pierechod in, is the next phase in capitalising on this new outlook. Tungsten have invested heavily in the integration between AI, visual engineering and digital assets. All centred around ‘virtual production & digital twinning’ - and the interoperability between digital and physical production processes.
"Tungsten have a unique capability in our industry and in Yorkshire itself. They're perfectly placed to support brands and agencies in creating amazing content AND they're not afraid to try new things; innovate, and see that the future of content creation and generation is a fluid beast, in the near future this is really where the 'rubber will meet the road' in our industry. The way people engage with media has changed.... So has the way we create and produce it! I look forward to helping Tungsten position themselves to better support agencies and brands on a more integrated and collaborative fashion. Also, they've got a robot! Now, who doesn't wanna play with that! haha". - James Pierechod
